Precautions for refractory brick masonry



1. The circular furnace wall shall not have three-layer or three-ring heavy seams, and the double-layer seams of the upper and lower layers and the adjacent two rings shall not be at the same location.

2. The circular furnace wall should be built according to the center line. When the center line deviation and straight line deviation of the furnace shell meet the needs of the inner shape of the furnace, the furnace shell can be used as the guiding surface for masonry.

3. The long side of the non-arc furnace bottom and the uppermost layer at the bottom of the channel should be straight or at an angle to the direction of movement of the charge, metal, dross or gas.

4. The arch and the vault must be built symmetrically from the arch feet on both sides to the center. When laying bricks, it is forbidden to invert the size of the arch bricks; All lock bricks should be driven into the arch from the side. When it is not possible to hit people from the side, one or two bricks on one side of the lock can be processed first to make the upper and lower scales of the lock equal, and then the lock bricks that are suitable for the size of the lock can be hit from above, and its both sides are plugged with steel plates; The removal of the arch tire must be carried out only after all the lock bricks are tightened, the trenching at the arch foot is completed, and the nuts of the skeleton hooks are finally tightened.

5. For the brick joints that are not tightly built, thin steel plates should be driven into them to plug them tightly. Especially for convertible kilns, checks should be made every 1/4 turn, and the above measures should be used to make up.

6. The orientation of the expansion joints should avoid the stress-bearing parts, the furnace body skeleton and the holes in the masonry. The expansion joints of the inner and outer layers of the masonry should not penetrate each other, and the upper base should be staggered.
