Tundish's advantages are as follows:

1) Reduce the static pressure of molten steel, maintain the stable liquid level of tundish, and inject molten steel into crystallizer smoothly;
2) To promote the inclusion in the molten steel to rise further to purify the liquid steel;
3) Shunt molten steel. For multi-flow continuous casting machine, the molten steel is distributed to each mold through tundish;
4) Store the molten steel, and do not reduce the drawing speed when the ladle is replaced by multi-furnace continuous casting, thus creating conditions for multi-furnace continuous casting.It can be seen that the tunic is used for reducing pressure, stabilizing current, removing inclusions, storing and distributing steel.
