Preventive measures for ladle slide plate leakage
1. Strengthen the acceptance and inspection of the mechanical part of the sliding nozzle.
1) For the key parts of the sliding nozzle, the sliding plate must be measured carefully before use to ensure that the dimensional tolerances of each part meet the specified requirements.
2) During each packing operation, the sliding mechanism must be carefully checked, deformed and cracked parts must be replaced, and the residual steel residue in the sliding box must be cleaned up.

2.Choose high-quality refractory materials
1) The refractory materials used for sliding nozzles must have high high temperature strength, especially the ladle seat bricks, which can withstand the mechanical damage and the erosion of molten steel when replacing the nozzle bricks, and must be synchronized with the service life of the lining;
2) Good thermal shock stability, no cracking during use;
3) The load softening point is high, the oxidation resistance is good, the hole diameter is not deformed during use, and there is no dent, pitted surface, or napping phenomenon;

3. Optimize operation
1) Do a good job in process control and carefully inspect the refractory materials to ensure the appearance and internal quality of the refractory materials.
2) Clean up the residual steel and mud in the inner cavity of the upper nozzle brick and the seat brick, and fill it with drainage sand to increase the automatic pouring rate of molten steel and avoid boiling and pouring.
3) Close the sliding nozzle in time after the molten steel in the ladle is poured to prevent the molten slag in the ladle from flowing into the nozzle.
4) Adjust the hardness and dosage of refractory clay in time according to the diameter expansion of the seat brick and the upper nozzle brick and the depth of the upper nozzle brick recessed into the base reference plate.
5) Speed up the turnover of ladle and reduce thermal shock damage to ladle refractories.
6) Install the slide plate in strict accordance with the operating points. Clean up the debris on the mold frame, the working surface and the back of the slide plate; make the slide plate in a fully open state when burning oxygen.
7) Control the smelting process, ensure the temperature of the molten steel at the end, and strictly control the oxygen and calcium content of the molten steel at the end.
