What are the commonly used refractory materials

There are many types of refractory materials. In the production and use of refractory materials, the corresponding classification method is adopted in view of some need. At present, the classification method of refractory materials is roughly the following:

(1) It can be divided into 1580 ~ 1770 ordinary refractory material; high -grade refractory materials at 1770 ~ 2000 ; special -grade refractory materials at 2000 ~ 3000 °C; super refractory materials greater than 3000 °C.

(2) According to the shape and size, it can be divided into benchmarking, general, alien, brick type, special and super special products

(3) According to the molding process, it can be divided into natural rock-cutting and mud slurry. It can be shaped formed, semi-dry molding and vibration, tapping, and fusion of molding.

(4) According to the firing process, it can be divided into firing products, non -firing products and fusion of cast products.

(5) According to chemistry -mineral composition can be divided into aluminum silicate products (clay bricks, high aluminum bricks, semi -silicon bricks), silicon products (silicon bricks, melting quartz sintering products), magnesium bricks, magnesium and aluminum bricks , Magnesium chromium brick, etc.); charcoal products (charcoal bricks, graphite bricks, etc.); white cloud stone products; special refractory materials products (high-pure oxide products, incurable compound products and high temperature composite materials).

Commonly used refractory materials, special materials are AZS bricks, rigid jade bricks, directly combined with magnesium chromium, silicon carbide bricks, silicon nitrate binding carbide bricks, nitride, silicides, sulfides, boroside, carbides and other non-oxides materials; Calcium oxide, chromium oxide, aluminum oxide, magnesium oxide, and oxide. The commonly used thermal insulation and refractory materials include diatomic soil products, asbestos products, and thermal heating boards. The irregular refractory materials are often used include furnace materials, mounds, pouring materials, plastic, refractory mud, spraying materials, projected materials, tundish coatings, light-quality fire-resistant pouring materials, and mud.
