Magnesia Carbon Brick for Converter Introduction:

Magnesia Carbon Brick for Converter are designed according to different operation conditions and application areas of the converter lining. The bricks are made of pure flake graphite and large fused crystal magnesia which has high purity and density. Added with special antioxidant and use resins as binders and finally shaped under high pressure.Magnesia carbon brick is generally required that the content of MgO in magnesia should be greater than or equal to 95%, and the content of C in graphite should be greater than or equal to 94%. Magnesia carbon brick use electric fused magnesia sand,high purity magnesia sand,magnesia sand,Re-burn magnesium sand,High-quality graphite and Bauxite additives as raw material. 

The charging side requires magnesia carbon bricks to have high resistance to slag erosion, high temperature resistance and good peeling resistance. Therefore, high-strength magnesia carbon bricks with metal antioxidants are usually used. The main raw materials of magnesia-carbon bricks include fused magnesia or sintered magnesia, flake graphite, organic binders and antioxidants.

Magnesia is the main raw material for the production of MgO-C bricks, which can be divided into fused magnesia and sintered magnesia. Compared with sintered magnesia, fused magnesia has the advantages of coarse periclase crystal grains and large particle bulk density, and is the main raw material used in the production of magnesia-carbon bricks.
