Long Nozzle

Long Nozzle Introduction:
With a special clamping device, the long nozzle is fixed between the ladle and the tundish to isolate the contact between the molten steel and the air to reduce the secondary oxidation of the molten steel, improve the purity of the molten steel, and prevent the steel from splashing. 

The use of a non-preheated long nozzle has the advantage that it can be directly installed and used without preheating, thereby saving fuel costs and reducing the labor intensity.

Long Nozzle Advantages：
The long nozzle has strong adaptability to steel grade and good corrosion resistance. The new designed long nozzle structure realizes the immersion pouring, which effectively alleviates the serious entrapment and air suction during pouring.

The invention of long nozzle started from the demand for the protection of molten steel pouring. Its use played a good role in preventing the secondary oxidation and slag entrapment of molten steel, and played an important role in the development of molten steel continuous casting.

For continuous casting operations, the long nozzle is of great significance, not only related to its steel-forming efficiency, but also related to the yield. Compared with the submerged entry nozzle, the long nozzle also needs to have many advantages such as crack resistance and corrosion resistance.
